Jobs & Earning

Six honest careers, each with its own ladder of levels, materials and reward crates. Clock in, do the work, hand it in — and watch the bank balance climb.

How Jobs Work

Open the Jobs Department app on your phone — or press USE on the Jobs Department NPC in person — and pick a career. There are six active jobs, and you can only hold one at a time.

Wages are multiplied by a payout booster (roughly ×2 by default, and higher with VIP), so a job pays out a good deal more than the raw task value suggests.

The Six Jobs

Each career feeds a different part of the economy. The gathering jobs (Hunter, Miner, Lumberjack, Delivery) supply the crafting chains.

JobWhat it yieldsUnlocks by level
HunterHunt at the Hunting Grounds for leather & clothTip: the Tiptoe skill stops animals attacking first
MinerWork the mining sites for stone & ore — ore feeds the smelting chainCoal Level 10 · Copper Level 15 · Titanium Ore Level 30
LumberjackWork the logging camps for logsPine Level 5 · Birch Level 10 · Oak Level 15
TaxiCash for ferrying passengers around the map
DeliveryCash, plus Diesel — the fuel a recycler needs to runDiesel from Level 5
PoliceAn earnable role — no tasks; income from arrests & patrolsNeeds 10 hrs + $10k — see Police
Diesel is the hidden keyLogs, ore and other raw resources are processed at a recycler — and a recycler needs Diesel to run. Diesel comes from the Delivery job. Many new players get stuck here without realising why.

XP, Levels & Rewards

Every task you finish grants XP toward a 30-level curve. Levelling up unlocks better harvest tiers (the higher-value materials in the table above) and hands out reward kits, backpacks and loot crates at set milestones. Claim those rewards from the jobs menu.

The Police career is the odd one out — it has no tasks or harvest tiers. It's a role with its own rank ladder, and its income comes from arrests, checkpoints, patrols and heists. Read all about it on the Police & Prison page.

Switching Jobs

Switching is safe — your gear is never lostChanging jobs — including joining the Police — no longer kills you or drops your inventory. Becoming an officer simply stores your civilian gear safely and hands you a police loadout; you get everything back when you clock off. Swap with confidence.
  • There's a 5-minute cooldown between job swaps, so choose deliberately.
  • Your job level and rewards are saved per career — switching back later doesn't wipe your progress.
