Gangs & Hideouts

A gang is your key to the underworld. Hold a hideout and you unlock the drug labs, an industrial furnace, a steady income, and skill trees that make the whole crew stronger.

Why Gangs

Going it alone only gets you so far. A gang — and the hideouts it holds — unlocks the most lucrative systems in the game.

Hideouts host the drug recycler and mixing table, an industrial furnace for smelting ore, pay a steady income, and bankroll gang-wide skills. If you want to run drugs at scale, this is the smoothest path.

Create a Gang

  1. Name your gangType /gang name <name>. If you're not in a gang, this creates one; if you already lead one, it renames it. Creating a gang costs $750.
  2. Open the gang menuOpen the Gangs app on your phone for your gang's menu and the leaderboard.
It all lives in the Gangs appInviting members, roles, gang funds and the leaderboard are all in the Gangs app on your phone — the only thing you type is /gang name <name> to first create or rename your crew.

Capturing Hideouts

There are five hideouts on the map (labelled A through E), and your gang can hold up to three at once. Capturing one is a tug-of-war, not a simple timer — and it's loud, so expect company.

How a capture actually worksJust stand inside the hideout's zone as a gang member — no weapon or fee required. A capture meter fills based on how many of your gang are inside (counting up to three); enemy or defending members inside push it back, and a kill inside swings it +15 your way. Solo it takes roughly 4 minutes; a three-man squad about 1.5. Police and medics don't count.
  1. Get your crew in the zoneMove your gang into the hideout's area — the more of you inside, the faster the meter climbs.
  2. Hold the leadOut-number and out-fight the defenders. If a rival gang takes the lead mid-capture, your progress drains before theirs builds.
  3. Lock it downHit 100% to capture. The hideout locks to your gang for 5–15 minutes — nobody can contest it — and it starts paying the gang bank.

Each hideout you hold pays $2 a minute into the gang bank — but only while a member is online — so a gang sitting on all three earns about $6/min passively.

What's at a hideout

A captured hideout is your production base: a mixing table, a recycler, an industrial furnace and storage — all locked to your gang's members, so rivals can't loot or use them. It's the smoothest place to run the drug chain.

Gang missions

The hideout also launches repeatable gang missions — the engine of your gang bank (one job at a time, ~10-minute cooldown):

  • Weapon Convoy — pay ~$3,000 upfront to run an illegal weapons convoy that pays out weapon parts and components.
  • Cash Laundering — pay in $5,000 dirty and get $5,000 clean wired straight to the gang bank.

Both add a wanted star while you run them — unless you've unlocked the gang skills that remove it (below).

Wear a badge? Your gang pausesJoining the Police job suspends your gang membership until you go back to civilian — leadership temporarily hands off to a deputy. You can't run both sides at once.

The income piling up in your gang bank buys gang-wide skills that benefit every member at once. Unlock them in the Gangs app. They run from about $500 to $2,000 each, across three trees:

Those live in the skill perks.
